# pitchboom.io

> pitchboom.io is an AI motion-design studio for video ads: paste a product URL or a short brief, pick the goal, platform and length, and it writes the script, builds an editable storyboard, adds a voice-over and music, and renders on-brand videos in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4 (MP4, 1080p; 4K on Pro and Premium). pitchboom.io is an independent AI video-ad studio. It is not pitch.com (presentation software) and is not affiliated with TikTok, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, Apple or Google.

Key facts:
- Freemium: Every new account gets 500 free credits at signup, no card required (about one 30-second Standard video), then plans from €30 a month (excl. VAT) with monthly credits. Free accounts make Standard videos up to 30 s in 1080p on the website, one at a time (one grant per person, verified email or Google account); Studio, 4K, batches, code screens, the MCP server and top-up packs are on paid plans.
- Plans (EUR, excl. VAT, monthly): Starter €30 with 3,000 credits, 1080p export, batches up to 3, videos up to 60 s; Pro €99 with 11,000 credits (10% off every credit), 4K with a per-second surcharge, batches up to 10, videos up to 90 s, MCP server; Premium €300 with 37,500 credits (20% off every credit), 4K included, batches up to 25, videos up to 120 s, MCP server. Prices as of pricing version 2026-10-24.
- Video price per second by quality: Standard 13 credits (23 with screens rebuilt from your code), Studio 100 credits (120 with screens rebuilt from your code) (storyboard, voice-over, music and 1080p render included). Videos shorter than 15 s are billed as 15 s. Studio videos are billed on at least 20 s; with screens rebuilt from your code, the code surcharge is billed on at least 30 s. 4K: +4 credits per second on Pro, included on Premium, not available on Starter.
- 1 credit = €0.01 at the Starter rate. Example: a 15-second Standard video is 195 credits.
- Billing: Every paid action shows an estimate first. When you confirm, the estimate is held from your balance; each finished step consumes its share, and whatever isn't used is released when the job ends. If a render fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded automatically. Credits don't expire while the account is open. Top-up packs from €20 (2,000 credits) for subscribers.
- Formats: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4 (each scene is recomposed per format, not cropped). Lengths: 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 seconds. Output: MP4 (H.264, AAC; 30 fps, 60 fps in Studio), 1080p; 4K on Pro and Premium.
- Goals: Sales, Sign-ups, App installs, Launch, Awareness, Explainer, Retarget. Platform presets: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, Facebook / Meta feed, LinkedIn, X, Website / landing page.
- Voice-over and translations in 34 languages. Music: a bed generated by pitchboom's own code (royalty-free by construction), or no music.
- Post-production: AI assistant (small edits free with undo, paid changes estimated and confirmed first), translations, format variants, re-renders, version history, “Recreate with same settings”.
- Public gallery: videos are public by default with an indexable page; the owner can make any video private, or set private as the account default. Only the creator can download a video; visitors stream a preview through short-lived links.
- MCP server and personal API keys on Pro and Premium (estimate tools return a quote; a confirm tool executes it).

What pitchboom.io does not do:
- It does not buy media or publish ads to your ad accounts: you download the MP4 and upload it where you advertise.
- It does not guarantee that a platform will approve an ad, or that an ad will perform (no ROAS, CTR or sales promise).
- It does not film live action or use stock footage: videos are motion design built from your site, your screenshots, your uploads and your Brand Kit.
- It does not generate AI avatars, talking heads or UGC-style actors: the videos are motion design with on-screen text and a voice-over.
- It has no free monthly plan and no trial period: every new account gets 500 free credits once at signup, no card required, then plans from €30 a month (excl. VAT).
- It does not offer downloads to anyone but the creator: everyone else can watch public videos, and only the creator can download the original file (screen recording can't be prevented).

## MCP server and API
- Endpoint: https://pitchboom.io/api/mcp (MCP over Streamable HTTP; tools only).
- Authentication: a personal API key in the header `Authorization: Bearer pb_live_…`, created in Settings → API when signed in. Keys in URLs are refused.
- Plans: the MCP server and API keys come with Pro and Premium; free accounts (the signup credits) use the web app.
- Money rule: every paid tool returns a quote first (quote_id, credits, balance after); nothing is charged until confirm_operation (or approve_storyboard for a video already launched), called only after the user approves that exact amount. Quotes expire after 30 minutes. Credits are held on confirmation; only what is produced is consumed, the rest is released, and failures on pitchboom's side are refunded.
