Explainer videos
Explain it once. Clearly.
Make an explainer video from a brief or a URL: the problem, how it works in numbered steps, and the outcome, with a calm voice-over, captions and motion design. Videos go up to 120 seconds on Premium. A 60-second Standard explainer is 300 credits.

Explaining takes longer than selling
An ad can get away with one bold claim. An explainer has to make a process clear: what goes in, what happens, what comes out, in an order a newcomer can follow.
Classic animated explainers take weeks of scripting, illustration and revisions, and they go out of date the day your process changes.
Clear structure, easy updates
Numbered steps
The explainer structure turns your process into steps, each with its own scene and one sentence of voice-over.
A calm voice
Explainers use the calm pacing preset, with captions so people can follow along without sound.
Visuals from your material
Screenshots, product photos and your Brand Kit; feature lists and big numbers carry the key facts.
Updates without a reshoot
Change a step in the storyboard and re-render instead of starting over.

3. Approve the storyboard
Read the storyboard scene by scene. Edit on-screen texts and voice-over lines for free, then approve the estimate.
4. Render and download
pitchboom records the voice-over, adds the music and renders a 1080p MP4. Download it and upload it where you advertise.

Angles that work
The numbered path
Number the steps on screen. Viewers relax when they know how many are left.
“1 · 2 · 3”
The analogy
Explain the unfamiliar with something familiar, once, early.
“Like a thermostat, for your cloud bill.”
The outcome close
Finish on the result the viewer gets, with the call to action under it.
“A fixed price. One day. Done.”
What it costs
| What | Credits | At the Starter rate | On Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| One 60-second video · Standard · 1080p | 300 | €3.00 | €2.40 |
| A batch of 3 takes (60 s each) | 900 | €9.00 | €7.20 |
| A format variant of it (recomposed) | 96 | €0.96 | €0.77 |
| A translation of it (new voice-over and captions) | 168 | €1.68 | €1.34 |
| 4K instead of 1080p, on Pro (€2.16 at the Pro rate) | 240 | Not on Starter | Included |
Credits come with your plan (Starter €30/month, 3,000 credits · Pro €99/month, 11,000 credits · Premium €300/month, 37,500 credits, excl. VAT). Videos shorter than 15 seconds are billed as 15. Every paid action shows an estimate first. When you confirm, the estimate is held from your balance; each finished step consumes its share, and whatever isn't used is released when the job ends. If a render fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded automatically.
Fair questions.
How long should an explainer video be?
Most explainers work at 60 to 90 seconds: enough for three steps and an outcome. Your plan sets the maximum (Starter 60 s, Pro 90 s, Premium 120 s).
Is it an animated (cartoon) explainer?
No characters or illustrations are drawn: pitchboom explainers are motion design built from type, your screenshots, photos and Brand Kit, with a voice-over and captions.
Can I change a step later?
Yes. Edit the step in the storyboard (free), then re-render the video; the re-render is quoted before you confirm.
How much does a 60-second explainer cost?
A 60-second video at the Standard tier is 300 credits: storyboard, voice-over, music and the 1080p MP4 render included (€3.00 of credits at the Starter rate, €2.40 on Premium). Credits come with your plan: Starter €30/month for 3,000 credits, Pro €99/month for 11,000 credits, Premium €300/month for 37,500 credits (excl. VAT). You see the estimate before you confirm; it is held, each finished step uses its share, and what isn't used goes back to your balance.
Can I translate a video?
Yes, into 34 languages: a translation keeps the edit and the visuals, writes the new script, records a new voice-over and re-times the captions. A 15-second Studio translation is 63 credits, quoted before you confirm.
What happens if a render fails?
If a video fails on our side (a provider outage, a render crash, a failed quality check), the credits it consumed are refunded automatically and you can retry. If you cancel, you pay only for the steps already finished; the rest of the hold is released.
