Product demo videos
Product demos that show, not tell.
Turn your product page and screenshots into a product demo video: the problem, the product doing the job feature by feature, and the next step. 16:9 for your website, YouTube and sales emails, with square and vertical variants for social. A 45-second Studio demo is 360 credits.

Demos either drag or skip the point
A live demo recorded on Zoom is ten minutes long, starts with the login screen and buries the moment that matters. A 15-second ad, on the other hand, shows too little for someone who is evaluating.
The useful demo sits in between: under a minute, one problem, the three features that solve it, and a clear next step.
A demo with a script
Feature by feature
The explainer structure walks through the features you pick, one beat each, in the order a buyer asks about them.
Your real screens
Screenshots in browser and phone frames, with the camera moving to the part of the screen the voice-over talks about.
A voice that explains
Calm pacing and the expressive voice model at the Studio and Cinema tiers.
Ready for your site
A 16:9 1080p MP4 you can host on your landing page, in your help center or in a sales sequence.

- Take fresh screenshots from your current product: the demo is only as good as the screens it shows.

1. Paste your link or brief
Paste your product page or website, or describe what you sell in two lines. Add your Brand Kit and any screenshots or product photos.
2. Pick the goal and the format
Choose the explainer goal, the 16:9 / 1:1 / 9:16 format and a length between 30 and 60 seconds; pick the Studio tier or another one.
3. Approve the storyboard
Read the storyboard scene by scene. Edit on-screen texts and voice-over lines for free, then approve the estimate.
4. Render and download
pitchboom records the voice-over, adds the music and renders a 1080p MP4. Download it and upload it where you advertise.
Example storyboard
45-second demo for an invoicing tool
16:9 · 45 s · Studio · 360 credits
An example of the storyboard pitchboom writes before anything is rendered: scenes, on-screen text, motion and voice-over. You can rewrite any line or swap a scene for free, then approve.
Scene 1, 0:00–0:04, Hook. On screen: “Get paid before you chase.”. Motion · Kinetic headline on the brand color.
VO · Get paid before you ever have to chase a client.
Scene 2, 0:04–0:10, Problem. On screen: “Late invoices. Awkward emails.”. Motion · Problem list: three pains crossed out.
VO · Late payments and awkward reminder emails eat your week.
Scene 3, 0:10–0:20, Demo. On screen: “Invoice in 30 seconds”. Motion · Your invoice editor in a browser frame; the camera follows the fields.
VO · Create an invoice from a template in thirty seconds.
Scene 4, 0:20–0:30, Feature. On screen: “Reminders that send themselves”. Motion · Your reminders screen in a browser frame; the schedule highlights.
VO · Polite reminders go out on their own when an invoice is due.
Scene 5, 0:30–0:38, Feature. On screen: “Pay by card, in one click”. Motion · Your payment page in a phone frame.
VO · Clients pay by card in one click, right from the email.
Scene 6, 0:38–0:45, Call to action. On screen: “Start at invoicely.app”. Motion · End card: logo and the URL pill.
VO · Start at invoicely dot app.
Angles that work
The job, not the menu
Structure the demo around one job the buyer must do, not around your navigation.
“Send an invoice and get paid.”
The three-feature rule
Three features, each with one sentence of voice-over and one screen.
Create · Remind · Get paid
The next step
End on the one action you want: trial, demo call, docs.
“Book a 15-minute walkthrough.”
What it costs
| What | Credits | At the Starter rate | On Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| One 45-second video · Studio · 1080p | 360 | €3.60 | €2.88 |
| A batch of 3 takes (45 s each) | 1,080 | €10.80 | €8.64 |
| A format variant of it (recomposed) | 126 | €1.26 | €1.01 |
| A translation of it (new voice-over and captions) | 189 | €1.89 | €1.51 |
| 4K instead of 1080p, on Pro (€1.62 at the Pro rate) | 180 | Not on Starter | Included |
Credits come with your plan (Starter €30/month, 3,000 credits · Pro €99/month, 11,000 credits · Premium €300/month, 37,500 credits, excl. VAT). Videos shorter than 15 seconds are billed as 15. Every paid action shows an estimate first. When you confirm, the estimate is held from your balance; each finished step consumes its share, and whatever isn't used is released when the job ends. If a render fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded automatically.
Fair questions.
How long should a product demo video be?
Our demo preset defaults to 45 seconds: long enough to show three features, short enough to finish. A 30-second cut works for ads, a 60-second one for help centers.
Can it record my screen?
No: pitchboom doesn't record your screen. Upload screenshots (or let the website analysis capture your pages) and scenes animate the camera around them.
Can I put the demo on my landing page?
Yes. Download the 1080p MP4 and host it on your site. If you don't want the demo to have a public page in our gallery as well, make it private.
How much does a 45-second product demo cost?
A 45-second video at the Studio tier is 360 credits: storyboard, voice-over, music and the 1080p MP4 render included (€3.60 of credits at the Starter rate, €2.88 on Premium). Credits come with your plan: Starter €30/month for 3,000 credits, Pro €99/month for 11,000 credits, Premium €300/month for 37,500 credits (excl. VAT). You see the estimate before you confirm; it is held, each finished step uses its share, and what isn't used goes back to your balance.
Are my videos public?
By default, a finished video is listed in the public pitchboom gallery with its own page that search engines can index. Anyone can watch it there, nobody but you can download it. You can make any video private from the editor or the results page, and set private as your account default in settings (useful for client work or unreleased launches). We protect the original files, but anything that can be watched can be screen-recorded.
Can I use the videos in paid ads?
Yes. The videos you make are yours to use in your own marketing, paid ads included, on any platform. The default music bed is generated by our own code, so there is no third-party track to license. You stay responsible for what you put in a video: claims, logos, product photos and trademarks you upload or describe (see the content policy).
