pitchboom.io vs Jitter
pitchboom.io is an AI motion-design studio for video ads: give it a product URL or a brief and it writes, storyboards, voices and animates the ad for you. Jitter is a manual motion design tool: designers animate their own frames on a keyframe canvas, with AI assists. Pick Jitter for frame control, Figma import and Lottie or ProRes exports; pitchboom.io for a finished ad without animating (500 free credits at signup, no card required).

What is the difference between pitchboom.io and Jitter?
Jitter is a tool for people who animate. You import frames from Figma or start from a template, then set keyframes, easings and timing on a canvas, alone or with your team. Its AI features generate animations you can still edit by hand, and it exports to formats developers use, such as Lottie.
pitchboom.io is for people who need the ad, not the animation work. It reads your product page, writes the script, builds a storyboard you can edit, then renders voice-over, music and motion design in your Brand Kit, 6 to 120 seconds long. See how it works.
Which tool fits which deliverable?
| Deliverable | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A UI micro-animation or a Lottie file for an app or site | Jitter | Lottie, transparent and frame-by-frame exports; pitchboom exports MP4 only |
| Animate frames you already designed in Figma | Jitter | Figma import and keyframe control |
| A logo sting or brand animation timed to the frame | Jitter | Manual control of every layer and easing |
| A short product ad with voice-over | pitchboom.io | Script, storyboard, voice-over, music and render from your URL |
| A SaaS demo showing the real interface | pitchboom.io | Screens rebuilt from your product's code (code to product video) |
| The same ad in several languages | pitchboom.io | Translated voice-over and captions in 34 languages, priced per second |
How do the prices compare?
Jitter charges per editor: €19 a month for Pro (€15 billed annually), €49 for Max (€35) and €89 for Ultra (€59), excluding VAT, with a free-forever plan, as shown on its pricing page on October 25, 2026. The price buys the tool; the animation work is yours.
pitchboom.io charges for the finished video, by the second (Standard 13, Studio 100 credits per second), with an estimate before you confirm: a 30-second Standard ad is 390 credits (about €3.90 at the Starter rate, €3.12 on Premium). Plans: Starter €30 · Pro €99 · Premium €300 per month (excl. VAT). See pricing.
What about MCP and AI assistants?
Jitter opened an MCP server in beta on October 20, 2026. It creates and edits native Jitter files from Claude, ChatGPT or Notion; exporting and credit-spending AI features through MCP are announced as coming.
pitchboom's MCP server, on Pro and Premium (from €99/month), runs the whole job from an assistant: quote, launch after you approve the amount, storyboard review, render and download. See the MCP docs and make videos with MCP.
Can a design team use both?
Yes. Designers can keep Jitter for brand animations, UI motion and Lottie files, and use pitchboom to produce ad variants without spending their time on each one. A pitchboom MP4 can also be imported into a Jitter file as a video layer. Examples of pitchboom output are in the gallery.
